Patsy "Pat" Noonkester

Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Patsy “Pat” Jayne Jones Noonkester of Waxahachie went home to the Lord on December 14, 2019 at Baylor Scott White in Waxahachie, Tx. Pat was born in Dallas, Tx on December 19, 1942. She met the love of her life, David E. Noonkester, in Euless, Tx in 1959. They married on October 22, 1960 and raised four children.

Pat was such a ray of sunshine and made this world a brighter place. She had a smile for everyone she met. Her life was lovingly lived and worth all the celebration and mourning. She was a beautiful, selfless and caring woman.

Pat had many friends throughout her life. She made many of those during her years working for WISD. A diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis caused her to end her working career.  Pat was an avid reader. She loved to escape in a good book. Pat made her family her priority.  She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was always thrilled to see them and loved to hear about their lives.

Pat is survived by her husband of 59 years, David Noonkester, her four children: David Noonkester, Scott (Cindy) Noonkester, Staci (Frank) Scarcello, Amy Roberts. Pat had 10 grandchildren: Logan and Garrett Campos, Raegan Eaton, Marlee Noonkester, Zackery Noonkester, Katie (EJ) Crutcher, Colton Roberts, Jenna Roberts, Zoe (Brennan) McCormick, and Megan (Travis) Gibson.  She also had 4 great-grandchildren: Cyrus and Harper Eaton, Chandler Snider, and Sadie Jo Crutcher. She is survived by 3 brothers, Mark, Scooter, and Forest Jones. Pat also leaves behind her most cherished friend and sister-in-law, Beth (Pat) Broome.and brother-in-law Rick (Diane) Noonkester as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved like her own.

Pat is preceded in death by her mother and father, Virginia Williams and Edward Bonham Stover Jones. She is also proceeded in death by her brother, Ricky Williams.

The family would like to thank all of their family and special friends for their love and support during this difficult time.

Services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 2 pm at the Waxahachie Bible Church, 621 North Grand Ave, Waxahachie, Tx 75165. Rev. Bruce Zimmerman will be officiating the service.
