Patsy Ruth Anguish, age 60
June 6, 1943
June 30, 2003

Mrs. Anguish passed away Monday evening at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. She was born in Dallas, TX. to Leo and Lillie (Burns) Cates. She was a Nurse's Aide at Italy Nursing Home, where she had worked for 32 years. Mrs. Anguish was a member of the First Baptist Church, Italy.

She is survived by: her mother, Lillie Cates; son, David Hazelwood; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and David Duke; sisters, Shirley Ratliff all of Italy and Sue Cates of Waxahachie; four grandchildren, Bobby and Jamie Hazelwood, Erika and Randy Ponder all of Frost; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Anguish in December 1989, her father Leo Cates, and twin brother, Larry Wayne Cates.

The family will receive friends and family Wednesday evening at the Wayne Boze Italy Chapel from 6 to 8 PM. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday June 3, 2003 at the Wayne Boze Italy Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Dabney and Brother James Wilcox officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Ratliff, Marvin Helms, Wendell Helms, Terry Helms, Danny Fikes and Jerry Holley. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Lawson, Murrie Wainscott, Chris Helms, Brad Helms, J. J. Helms,Dr. Watson Roye and Lisa, Dr. Roye's Nurse. Interment will follow in the Italy Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
