Patsy Alvarado

Patsy, "Nanny" went home to be with our Father on Monday afternoon, January 27, 2014. The Lord blessed us all with her love, joy, and her wisdom for 73 years. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 42 years, Felipe Alvarado. She is also survived by her sister Jeannie Ray, her sons David Dixon, and Justin Claxton, her daughters Susie Dixon, Larissa Alvarado, Victoria Martinez, Jessica Cole, Marie Diaz and Carlene Oring, twenty two grandchildren, thirty two great-grandchildren and many more nieces and nephews and family members who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, two sisters and a granddaughter. Mama will always live in our hearts. Nanny, PawPaw and their family were members at Restoration Tabernacle for 14+ years. They served as deacons for two years and elders for eight years. She will be forever missed by her family and the family of God. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A celebration of her life is scheduled for Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2 PM at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
