Patricia Roberson

Patricia Ann Wild Roberson of Grandview, Texas stepped through the veil of time and space and arrived in Glory at 10:00 a.m. on October 7, 2013. She left her home of 13 years while being surrounded by her most prized possessions, her family. Being a woman of high intellect and the ability to share knowledge with those around her, she finally had the answer to Psalms 39:4 "Lord, make me to know my end, And what is the measure of my days." Pat (a.k.a. "Ghee" to many) discovered that the total number of her days on earth were 29,514 which we are confident she wrote down, so that she could share that fun fact with someone else. Pat spent twenty-two years teaching elementary aged school children as a career, and roughly 50 years teaching all those she met about the marvels of life, faith, love and the healing power of laughter. She shared life with anyone willing to sit and absorb the warmth, and had something to offer all who had the privilege of knowing her. Visitation with family will be at the First Baptist Church, Grandview, Texas from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October, 9, 2013 followed by a celebration service at the same location at 10:30 a.m. Thursday October, 10, 2013. Interment will follow at the High Valley Cemetery, Bend, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Pastor Vernon Roberson of 14 years. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Malinda Scharnhorst and husband Keith of Clyde, Texas, and her son Christopher Roberson and wife Julie of Grandview, Texas in addition to 4 grandsons, Blaine and Jazz Scharnhorst of Burleson, Texas, Justin Scharnhorst of The Woodlands, Texas, Tanner Roberson of Stephenville, Texas and Austin Roberson of Stephenville, Texas. Those serving as pallbearers include, Blaine Scharnhorst, Justin Scharnhorst, Tanner Roberson, Austin Roberson, Adam Anderson and Larry Holderman.
