Patricia Darlene (Birdsong) Murray

Patricia passed away on May 25, 2020 at the age of 80. Patricia was born on December 12, 1939 in Lone Elm, TX. She attended the Waxahachie school system grades 1-12. Soon after, she married Jack Murray, on July 28, 1957 in Durant, Oklahoma.

She was a full-time housewife and a loving advocate for her family. She was an avid member of The Cowboy Church of Ellis County.

She is survived by her son Jon Murray, and his wife Iola of Maypearl; son Jeff Murray and his wife Cindy of Waxahachie; grandchildren Jon Michael Murray, Matthew Murray and his wife Anita, Kristin Murray, and Audra Russell. Great grandchildren Harper and Finley Murray & Jonnie and William “Finn” Atkins.

She was proceeded in death by her parents John and Mildred Birdsong; her brother; several sisters; her husband of 63 years, Jack Murray; daughter, Jacqulyn Murray; son, Scott Murray.

Patricia’s legacy was her family, which she left with a full measure of love, great stories and dear memories.
