Patty loved life fully and enjoyed helping others. Even as a young child, she loved going to her grandpa's store and helping out. She would watch the meat being butchered and talk with the customers. One day at an older age she got into some mischief by sneaking some raw potatoes and going out in the back of the store eating them till her tummy hurt.
After graduation, she married her high school sweetheart Francis Rod Kitzmiller. She put her husband through college playing the piano in a dance band. After he graduated, they moved to Midland, Texas and then later to Houston, Texas. They were blessed with three children and she loved and cherished her role as a mom. Patty encouraged her children to do their best, persevere and succeed continually. She was always so proud of her children.
She loved music and would enjoy playing the piano for friends and family. She shared her passion and the gift of music with each of her children. Patty later joined Sweet Adenines. She shared this passion with her sister, Pam. While in Houston, she was a charter member of the Houston Horizons chorus. In 1989 she started a new chapter in her life and moved to Dallas. There she joined the Rich-Tones Sweet Adenines chorus. She had a great voice and was an excellent singer. She also loved being on the front row dancing and doing the choreography during performances. Patty loved performing whether singing or playing the piano sharing the gift of music.
Patty also will be remembered for having a very giving and kind spirit. She always wanted to help others however she could. Her love for others has blessed so many people.
Our fond memories of Patty will forever live on in our hearts.
