Patricia Bond

Patricia Ann Catron Bond, 89, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Buffalo Creek Assisted Living in Waxahachie. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, located at 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business in Waxahachie. Interment will follow funeral services at Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be observed on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Patricia was born on June 27, 1927 to Osto Vernon Catron and Mary Eileen (Miller) Catron in Topeka, Kansas. She was a Registered Nurse and graduated from Stormont Veil College in Kansas where she received her nursing degree. She started her nursing career at W.C. Tenery Hospital and then worked for Dr. William H. Lindsey in Waxahachie for many years from where she eventually retired. She and her late husband, Russell O. Bond, enjoyed square dancing and playing cards with their friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and she will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell O. Bond; son, Randall Lee Bond; and grandson, Dustin Bond.

She leaves behind her children, Dr. Russell O. Bond, II and his wife, Kathryn, Karla Gibson and her husband, Doug, Kathy Sparrow and her husband, Hal, and Jennifer Nivens; grandchildren, Tara Lightsey and husband, Shannon, Dr. Elizabeth Bond, Catie Smith and husband, Adam, Corey Kaelin, Graham Sparrow, Jodi Pratt and husband, Ken, Callie Sparrow and fiancé, Trevor Brickman, Tyler Nivens and Tate Nivens; great grandchildren, Lance Lightsey, Lynnlee Smith, Emily Bond and Hannah Bond; and her many friends at Buffalo Creek Assisted Living.
