Mr. Orville F. McPherson, age 81
September 13, 1923
August 16, 2005

Mr. McPherson passed away Tuesday evening at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth. He was born in DeBeque, CO. to Glen Eugene and Dora Pearl (Hoggatt). He and Lillian May Zook were married November 18, 1942 in Fruita, CO. Mr. McPherson worked twenty one years at Southwestern Wood Products. He retired from Vought Aircraft in 1986. He was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church.

Mr. McPherson is survived by: his wife, Lillian Zook McPherson of Granbury; sons, Glen McPherson and his wife Charlene McPherson of Waxahachie, Roy McPherson of Granbury, Dale McPherson and his wife Maria of Austin; daughters, Sharon Barrow of Granbury, Davene Tanksley and her husband Eddie of Arlington; grandchildren, Todd and Trent Barrow, Billy and Dan McPherson, Lori Casey, Stacy Martin, Mysti Brisendine, Jamie Grimes, Lilyanna McPherson, Erica and Mike Cruz; twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 2 PM Saturday, August 20, 2005 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Larry Dickson, pastor of the Faith Assembly of God Church, Granbury, officiating. Pallbearers will be Richard Martin, Eddie Tanksley, Ronnie Brisendine, Thomas Grimes, Trent Barrow, Danny Zook, Todd Barrow and Steven Dean. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Casey and Craig Wilson. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.

There will be a reception at the Waxahachie Bible Church, 621 N. Grand, Waxahachie, TX. 75165, following the interment at the cemetery.
