Norman Terrill

December 3, 1943 — January 30, 2015

Norman G. Terrill, 71 of Red Oak, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 3, 1943 in Pueblo, CO to the late Leo and Buelah Harris Terrill. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy of Red Oak; his daughter, Tanya of Kaufman; his son, Randy of Waxahachie, his step sons, Ricky of Kaufman, Mike and his wife, Paulette of Forney; his grandsons, Chris and his wife, Amanda of Alba, Jason of Forney; great grandson, Brantley of Alba; he is also survived by one sister in Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one brother, 3 sisters and one grandson, Jeremy Melvin. Norman proudly served our country in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. He retired in 2008 from the trucking industry after 32 years as a Teamster. Norman was a member of the DeSoto Blue Lodge, a Mason and a Shriner. He was a pilot and loved riding motorcycles and traveling. His love for his family was beyond measure and he was respected by family and friends. He loved to talk to anyone who would listen and he enjoyed life to the fullest. He earned the highest possible respect from his family, as he was always someone we all looked up to and was a role model. Norman was such a wonderful and amazing person. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow with military honors at 12:30 p.m. at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Grand Prairie.
