Norman Knox Carter, 91, of Midlothian, passed away May 16, 2018. He was born July 17,1926, in Childress, Texas, to the late Norman Paul and Beulah Carter. Norman graduated from Dallas ISD and made a career at the United States Postal Service. He was a long-time member of Oak Crest Baptist Church, and also was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Norman and Jean traveled the world and had a love of West Texas. He also had a passion for automobiles.
Norman is survived by a sister-in-law, LaRue Dyess, of Waxahachie, and two nieces, Terri Ousley, and her husband Tim, of Mission, and Dana Stanton, and her husband Todd, of Waxahachie, and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Jean Evelyn Carter, and his parents, Norman Paul and Beulah Carter.
