Nola A. Brewer, 80 of Waxahachie, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2008. She was born to the late Morgan G. & Mary L. Caskey Box on May 18, 1927 in Milford, Texas.
Nola loved to fish and crochet. She also enjoyed playing video games and was a very sweet person. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waxahachie.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, C. A. Brewer of Waxahachie; daughters, Kathy Brewer of Waxahachie, Carol Houghton and her husband, Mike of Abilene; sister, Pauline Stroope and her husband, James of Conroe; her grandchildren, Seth & Lesleigh Houghton; and her great-grandchild, Jazlyn.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Brewer.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Sardis Cemetery with Dr. Leroy Fenton officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2008 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
