Noel Lee Worthy January 14, 1921 July 02, 2010 Noel Lee Worthy , age 89, of Waxahachie passed away Friday July 2, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 14, 1921 in Rankin, Texas to J.T. & Bessie Mae Childress Worthy. He was a member of the North Side Church of Christ. He was a Aviation Safety Inspector for the FAA until his retirement after 24 years of service. He is survived by his 2 Sons: James Worthy and wife, Loretta of Chandler, Oklahoma and Gary Worthy and wife Elia, of Tophy Club, Texas; a brother, Cecil Worthy of Rankin, Texas; seven grandchildren, Justin Worthy, Wendy Donnell, Suzanne Greenville, Jimmy Worthy, Robert Worthy, Jennifer Galvez and Vincent Hernandez; sixteen great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Dean Worthy in 2007; his son, Michael Worthy in 1985; his brother, Oda Worthy and his parents. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 06, 2010 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with John L. Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at the Elm Branch Cemetery in Bardwell, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, July 5, 2010 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
