Mr. Athas passed away Monday at Red Oak Health and Rehabilitation. He was born in Dallas to Pete and Agalia Dinos Athas. Mr. Athas served in the US Army and was a Postal Carrier.

He is survived by: sons, Nick Athas of Red Oak and Rocky Athas, of North Richland Hills, TX.; daughter, Donna Athas Wilson of Dallas; brothers, Sam Athas of Florida and Angelo Athas of Dallas; sisters, Catherine Angel and Angelina Psalidas both of Dallas; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy in 1993, and brother Bill in 2004.

The family will receive friends and relatives 7-9 PM Wednesday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be 2 PM Thursday, May 12, 2005 at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas with Howard Davis officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Red Oak Funeral Home.
