Netia Joy (Eves) Dulworth, age 70, of Red Oak, passed from this life at her home on June 23, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She was born to Pete and Gladys Eves in Waxahachie, TX on March 16, 1951 and was the youngest of 3 girls.
Netia graduated from Red Oak High School in 1969 as Captain of the Drill Team, was a former Ellis County Cotton Princess and FFA Sweetheart to name a few early life achievements. She worked almost 3 decades as a Child Support Enforcement Officer for the State of Texas Attorney General’s office. She will be remembered as a dedicated loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her family completely and was a selfless woman when it came to the needs of others. She believed in forgiveness and that family takes care of family to her core. She really enjoyed family cookouts, being at her house, slot machines, and true crime shows. In addition, she had a special love for Christmas and animals. Her favorite activity was the ritual Saturday shopping trip to Walmart with her mom and sisters followed by a stop at the Waxahachie Dairy Queen for as long as all were able.
Netia is survived by her son James Alan Dulworth and wife Dayna; her son Jacob Will Dulworth and wife Jamie; her five grandchildren, Travis Alan Dulworth, Jacob Tyler Dulworth, Austin Blake Dulworth, MacKenzie Lynn Dulworth, and Madison Joy Dulworth; one greatgrandchild Asir James “AJ” Dulworth and her extended family.
Netia was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters Carolyn Newton and Tammy Northcutt.
Netia will be missed by all those who loved her dearly. Rest in peace, Grandma!
