Mrs. Saylors, a longtime Milford resident, passed away Wednesday morning at Baylor Medical Center Ellis Co. She was born in Hill County, TX. to Robert Andrew and Mary Clyde (Marrs) Florida. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Milford and a member of the Women's Missionary Union and Ladies Sunday School Class. She was an avid gardener; also, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Saylors was a resident of Pleasant Manor Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by: two sons, Benny Saylors of Mineral Wells, TX., and Bob Saylors and wife Betty of Waxahachie; one brother, Robert A. Florida, Jr. of Wichita Falls, TX.; three grandchildren, Sandy Hokenson and husband Craig of Garland, Brian Saylors and wife Kristi of Weatherford, and Chad Saylors and wife Gracie of McGregor; and five great grandchildren, Shannon, Colt, Courtney, Angela and Erin. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers , twin sisters and husband Ernest Benton Saylors.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Thursday at the Boze Chapel, 161 W. Main, Italy,TX. 76651. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Friday, April 23, 2004 at the First Baptist Church, Milford, Texas with Reverend John Wheatley officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Bradley, Brian Saylors, Chad Saylors, Rufus Florida, Billy Florida and Craig Hokenson. Interment will follow in the Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to First Baptist Church, Milford, TX.
