Neal B. Marks, Jr., age 86

Mr. Neal Marks, lifetime Ellis County resident, passed at Thursday at the Baylor Medical Center, Dallas.
He was born in Forreston, Texas to Neal B. and Goldie (Justice) Marks. He farmed in Howard, Texas for several years until he entered the Army on November 7, 1942. Mr. Marks seved until November 3, 1945 in the WWII European Theatre. He retired from LTV Aircraft in 1984, having worked for the since 1951. He will be remembered by all who came into his life; whether friends, neighbors or strangers, for his kindness and generosity. He was a member of the Howard Baptist Church, Howard, Texas.

He is survived by a special friend, Francis Nelson of Waxahachie. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister.

Mr. Marks will lie in state Friday evening and Saturday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. His visitation will be 3-5 PM Saturday evening at the funeral home. Graveside services and interment will be 10 AM Monday, April 17, 2006 at the Hillcrest Burial Park with Dr. Shane Kinnison officiating.
