Nancy Ann Spigener, 59 of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her residence. She was born to the late Robert Brislen and Cheryl Reilly Brislen on September 10, 1953 in Chicago, ILL. Nancy loved to fish and travel. She worked as an administrator for Red Oak ISD. Nancy headed up the delegation for the Red Oak Special Olympics for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family. No one could find a better friend than Nancy. She will be missed by so many who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Tom Spigener of Waxahachie; her daughter, Jeanna Spigener of Waxahachie; her brother, Kevin Brislen of Indianapolis, IN; her sisters, Mary Haynes and her husband, Dave of Portage, IN, Barbara Southern and husband John of Indianapolis, IN and Amy Brislen of California; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Cheryl Brislen. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, with a Rosary Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.
