Nadine Bancroft

Nadine Henry Steel Bancroft, 79 of North Richland Hills, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Ernest W. and Ida Mae Wilson Henry on August 18, 1932 in Bonham, Texas. Nadine was a Registered Nurse, fulfilling her passion of helping others. She was a member of the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) for over 20 years in Dallas and also worked in Home Health Care. Nadine enjoyed planting flowers gardening. She loved her family and spending time with them. She will truly be missed by so many. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Bancroft of North Richland Hills; her daughters, Patricia Watson of North Richland Hills, Judy Hodge of Red Oak; her sons, Jerald Eddie Bancroft, Jr. of Blossom, Texas and Mark Steel and his wife, Holly of Wichita Falls; her brother, Dr. Jimmy Henry and his wife, Bennie of Sulphur Springs; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Francis Fallwell; and by her son, David Lynn Bancroft. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2011 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Henry officiating.
