Murrell Glen Stainthorpe, age 57

Mr. Stainthorpe passed away Thursday at the Granbury Medical Center. He was born in San Antonio, TX. to Murrell and Dixie (Fowler) Stainthorpe. Mr. Stainthorpe was an electrician by trade, a family man by heart and a Baptist by faith.

His survivors include: his wife, Patricia Stainthorpe; son and daughter-in-law, Sterling G. and Wendy Marie Stainthorpe; stepsons and step-daughters-in law, Roy and Jennifer Brewer, and Marty and Barbara Brewer; step daughter and step-son-in-law, Angelia and Richard Failor; and six step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and the mother of his son, Roseanne, on December15, 1998.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Sunday at the Boze Family Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 2 PM Monday, January 30, 2006 at the Red Oak Funeral Home with Pastor Kirk Shelton officiating. Pallbearers will be Sterling Stainthorpe, Michael Bellis, Kyle Brewer, Matt Williamson, Nick Williamson, Mark Williamson, Michael Failor, Marty Brewer, Roy Brewer, Miles Williamson, Mace Williamson, and Stanley Kolodzie. Interment will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Life Gift Transplant Services.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Boze Family Red Oak Funeral Home.
