Mrs. Arriaga passed away at her residence in Avalon, Tuesday evening.
Rosa was born in Italy, Texas February 23, 1931 to, Cristoval Gutierrez and Seferina (Mena) Gutierrez. Rosa married Tony Arriaga, they are members of The Epithany Catholic Church in Italy.

Rosa is survived by, her husband, Tony Arriaga of Avalon, Texas; sons, Tony and his wife Lillie Arriaga of Italy, Texas; Mario Arriaga of Avalon, Texas; David Arriaga of Avalon, Texas; Carlos Arriaga of Waxahachie, Texas; brothers, Frank Gutierrez of Dallas, Texas; Jesus Gutierrez of Italy, Texas; sisters, Julia Guerrero of Italy, Texas; Felipa Torres of Abbott, Texas; grandchildren, Felipe; Raymond; Mario Jr.and Dianna; Jesse; Eddie; Johnathan; Andrea Arriaga; great-grandchild, Adrianna Arriaga.


There will be a Rosary for Rosa 7:00 PM Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the, Italy Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be 10:00 AM October 14, 2005 at the Epithany Catholic Church with Father Vela officiating. Pallbearers will be, Mario Arriaga Jr.; Jesse Arriaga; Raymond Arriaga; Samuel Gutierrez; Albert Gutierrez; Pete Gutierrez. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery.
