Mrs. Lorene Berrier, lifetime Ellis County resident, passed away Monday evening at Baylor Medical Center, Waxahachie. Lorene was born near Forreston, Texas, Ellis County, to Charlie and Ruth Davidson Wright. In 1937, she married H. Truitt Berrier. Lorene attended Five Points Elementary and Italy High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Deborah Class for many years. She was a homemaker.

Her survivors include: her husband, H. Truitt Berrier of Waxahachie; sons, Lucien Berrier of Boulder, CO., J. Keith Berrier of Lakewood CO., and Steven E. Berrier of San Diego, CA.; daughter, Sandra Berrier Fowler of Lubbock, TX.; sisters, Velma Deal of Waxahachie and Iva Lee Norcross of Italy; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; many friends. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Jewell Kono, and one brother, Harold Wright.

Mrs. Berrier will lie in state Wednesday evening and until 10 AM Friday. The Graveside service will be 11 AM Friday in the Waxahachie City Cemetery with interment to follow.
