Lisa Ferne Gerron Ashley, age 43

October 23, 2004

Mrs. Ashley, a lifelong Waxahachie resident, passed away Saturday night at her residence after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born to Edsel and Ann (Kelly) Gerron. Lisa married Robert Ashley on July 24, 1988 in Lancaster, TX. She was a very dedicated mother who lived her life for her children. Mrs. Ashley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waxahachie.

She is survived by: her husband, Robert J. Ashley; her mother, Ann Gerron; son, Jordan Brock; daughters, Lyndi Ashley and Logan Ashley; sisters Lori Allred and her husband Scott, Leigh Ann Pierce; grandparents, Henry and Willie Ferne Kelly all of Waxahachie;
grandmother, Zula Gerron of Ennis; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Wednesday, October 27, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Joe Barrentine officiating. Pallbearers will be Richard Kelly, Larry Kelly, Richie Kelly, Christopher Kelly, Patrick Kelly and Steven Kelly. Interment will follow in Waxahachie City Cemetery.

A Robert Ashley Benefit has been set up at Citizens National Bank.
