Paul Jahnke, age 61 of Duncanville, Texas passed away early Monday morning at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Paul was born in Houston, Texas to Henry A. Jahnke and Ida Mary (Schnurr) Jahnke. Paul married Betty Ruth Rutherford, they have been residence in Duncanville,Texas. They attended The Methodist Church.

Paul is survived by, his mother, Ida Mary (Jahnke) McFall of Houston, Texas; wife, Betty Jahnke of Duncanville, Texas; son, Brent Jahnke of Lubbock, Texas; daughters, Kim and Mark Hentschel of Katy, Texas; Laura and Todd Terrell of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Zachary and Emily Terrell of Burleson, Texas; brother, Fred and Sharon Jahnke of Rye, New York; sister, Charlotte and Jerry Griffin of Danbury, Connecticut; one niece; three nephews and one grandniece. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry A. Jahnke who passed away 1990.

The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, October 13, 2005 from 6-9 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of his life will be Friday, October 14, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel, with Reverend Bill Davis of Houston, Texas officiating. Pallbearers will be,Todd Terrell; Mark Hentschel; Paul Vinson; Tom Dillon; Larry Ellison; Bobby Peikert. Interment will follow at the Mt.Peak Cemetery.
