Manuel DiazDeLeon Torres, age 57

Mr. DiazDeLeon passed away early Monday morning at his residence in Waxahachie. He was born to Raymundo and Marina (Torres) DiazDeLeon in El Sitio, Mexico. Manuel moved to Waxahachie sixteen years ago, coming from Chicago, IL. He was owner of Elvira's Mexican Restaurant in Waxahachie and a member of the Bethesda Assembly DeDios.

Manuel is survived by: his parents, Raymundo and Marina DiazDeLeon of El Sitio, Mexico; wife, Elvira DiazDeLeon of Waxahachie; sons, Ivan DiazDeLeon also of Waxahachie and Ulysses DiazDeLeon and wife Monika of Arlington; three grandchildren, Gabriela Marie DiazDeLeon, Zephyra DeLuna and Jade DiazDeLeon; six brothers; five sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-9 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, December 23, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Rudy DeLeon officiating. Pallbearers will be Ivan DiazDeLeon, Ulysses DiazDeLeon, Jose DiazDeLeon, Raymundo DiazDeLeon, Hector DiazDeLeon, and Miguel DiazDeLeon. Interment will follow in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 1500 S. Westmoreland, DeSoto, TX. 75115.
