Morgan Franklin Russell, age 86

Mr. Russell passed away Sunday at his residence. He was born in Johnson County, Texas to John and Emiley Russell. Mr. Russell had lived in Ellis County for the past 54 years.
He was a painter for LTV for 33 years.

His survivors include: his wife, Marguerite Mittle Byerly of Red Oak; son, Van Gordon Russell of Atlanta, GA.; daughters, Darleen Adams of Glenn Heights, Kay Whitton of South Lake, and Melody Hornung of Ovilla; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ronald Russell.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 2 PM Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Ovilla with Pastor David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.
