Molly Ann Maberry

June 12, 1939 — March 5, 2025

Waxahachie

Molly Maberry was born June 12, 1939, in Big Spring, Texas to Dale and Virginia Webb. She went to glory on March 5, 2025 surrounded by the people she loved most, her family.

She had two children, Sherry & Jerry who were the joy of her life. The family lived in Dallas, Texas where Molly worked at Montgomery Ward for 27 years until she retired. Later in life, she married Derrell Maberry from Alvarado, Texas. Together, they lived in Waxahachie where they loved being involved at First United Methodist Church, going to their grandchildren’s sporting games and gardening. Molly will be remembered for her big smile, gentle spirit and chocolate pies.

She was greeted in Heaven by her Grandmother Inez Ragsdale (Patty-Mama), parents, Dale & Virginia Webb (Daddy Webb & Ginnie-Mama), and her sister Judy McIntire.

Molly is survived by her daughter, Sherry Pierce-DeLuna & husband Ernest, and her son, Jerry Pierce and wife Rebecca as well as her grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as Molly-Mama, Angie Peterson & husband Eric, Caitlin James & husband Justin, and Calli Daniel & husband Elijah and her great-grandchildren, Luke & Reese Peterson, Peyton James and Bowen Daniel.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Timber Rock House in Midlothian, Texas for the intentional and special care they provided to Molly.

Molly is deeply loved and will be missed. Her legacy will be everlasting.
