Minerva Cardona

Minerva R. Cardona, 68 of Waxahachie, beloved daughter, sister, spouse and mother, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in a Mansfield hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 28, 1946 in Alice, Texas. She is survived by her beloved husband and children; also by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and brothers and sisters. Minerva was preceded in death by her father, mother and great grandson. She was the glue that held us together. She was the light that helped guide us through life. She filled our hearts with joy, love and laughter. She will forever be truly missed by her family friends and everyone that knew her. Those serving as pallbearers include, Santos Reyna, Jr., Daniel Cardona, Sr., Roman Cardona, Richard Gonzales, Daniel Cardona, Jr. and Adam J. Cardona. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 6 -10 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waxahachie. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 8 A.M. on Saturday July, 18, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gateway Memorial Park, Waxahachie.
