Mr. Haupt passed away Tuesday morning at Baylor Hospital Dallas.
Mr. Haupt was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Milton and Hattie (Baryenbruch) Haupt. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1949 and married Gloria Zigmund at Saint Bonface Catholic Church in Manitowoc June 28, 1952. In Wisconsin Mr. Haupt was a Superintendent of a Metal Stamping business. He moved his family to Waxahachie in 1981 and founded the Globe Products Co. Inc. in Ennis. He sold his business to his son in 1999 and retired. He was a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church, the Thorntree Country Club of DeSoto, and the Waxahachie Country Club. Milt enjoyed golf, traveling, flowers and the love of his life his grandchildren.

Surviving him is his wife of 50 years Gloria Haupt, of Waxahachie, his son Jess Haupt and wife Brenda, their two children Clair and Will all of Ennis, his daughter Lori Stephenson and husband John of Lewisville, two brothers Roy and Alene Haupt of Shawana, Wisconsin, Dale and Frances Haupt of Dillon, SC., Sister Carol Haupt, Sister-in-law Jean Haupt both of Manitowoc. Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother Wayne.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Friday May 23, 2003 at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Guadagnoli the Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis.

Memorials may be made to the Saint Joseph Catholic Church School.
