Milton "Bucky" Hartsfield, age 57

Bucky passed away Tuesday morning at the Ennis Care Center.
He was born In Beeville, TX. to Milton A. and Jo E. (Frels) Hartsfield, Sr. Bucky attended the Mexia State School, Mexia. GOD PUT BUCKY ON THIS EARTH TO TEACH OTHERS HOW TO LOVE.
His survivors include: mother, Jo Hartsfield of Waxahachie; sisters, Liz Owens and her husband Randy of Waxahachie, Mary Matlock and her husband David, Sr. of Shreveport, LA.; brother James Hartsfield and his wife Peggy of League City, TX.; nieces and nephews, Steve and Jeni Owens, Marie and Brandon Chase, Kathleen Owens, Destiny Owens, Emily Matlock, Katy Matlock, David Matlock, Jr., Alan Matlock, Dylan Hartsfield, Annie Hartsfield, Angie Hartsfield; two great nephews; one great niece; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Judge Milton A. Hartsfield, Sr.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-7 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Bucky's Life will be 2 PM Thursday, March 20, 2008 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with John Reglin and Jerry Shepherd officiating. Pallbearers will be Randy Owens, David Matlock, Sr., Steve Owens, David Matlock, Jr., Alan Matlock, and Brandon Chase. Honorary Pallbearers will be Edwin Farrar and Jim Owens. Interment will follow in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.

The family request donations be made to Lighted Pathways Hospice.
