Mildred Wood

Mildred L. Wood, 81 of Kemp, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 in a Kaufman hospital. She was born to the late Roscoe and Pauline Jenkins on April 5, 1935 in Waxahachie.

Mildred loved cooking, gardening, bird watching and decorating her home. She loved her church family and enjoyed joking around and making others laugh. Mildred loved her family very much and spending time with them, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Monte Woodson and his wife, Debbie, Vickie Hennington and her husband, Cecil and Tim Holland and his wife, Renee; 7 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Wood; her parents, Roscoe and Pauline Jenkins; and by her sister, Bobbie Davis.
