Mike "Coach" Farda October 04, 1945 November 30, 2010 Mike "Coach" Farda, age 65 of Maypearl, Texas passed away November 30, 2010. He was born October 04, 1945 in Houston, Texas to George and Lena Dorothy Stuessel Farda. Mike was the former head coach at Irving Nimitz High School and the athletic consultant for Maypearl ISD and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maypearl. He is survived by his wife Janie Farda of Maypearl, Texas; 4 Sons: Stephen and his children: Tara & Aidan Farda of Rockwall, Tx.. Jarod and Jeannie and their children Scout & Sailor Farda of Highland Village, Tx., Brian & Marisol Farda of Arlington, Tx., Michael & Leah and their children: Leila, Rocky Farda of Venus, Texas. 1 Brother: Tom & Linda Farda of Lorena, Tx., Sister in Law: Debra & Manfred Putman of Houston, Tx., Brother in Law: Jerry Groh of Oregon; Nieces: Erin & John Matthews and their children: Britney & Megan of Houston, Tx; Traci & Neal and children: Tyler Matthews of Houston and Nephew: Chris & Jenna Turner and children: Blake, Bleah, Daelen, Mehgan and Bailey. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, December 04, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Maypearl, Texas with Rev. Tony Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, December 03, 2010 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be: Stephen Farda, Jarod Farda, Brian Farda, Michael Farda, Manfred Putman, Neal Matthews, Chris Turner, Tom Farda, Jerry Groh and John Matheson; Honorary Pallbearers will be Wes Pyfer, Ronny Gage, Jim Slaughter, Brad Lynch, Shane Gravens, Lynn Dehart, Larry Burns, Brandon Vaughn, Jim Bennett, Clovis Hale, Val Osborne, John Willingham, Bob Weatherford , Bob Wright and David Rose. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
