Michele Carter

Michele Lynn Carter, 41, passed away on August 20, 2016 at her home in Red Oak. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from noon until 1:30 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

Michele was born on November 21, 1974 to Roger Dale Hankins and Debra Jean Bieland in Maysville, Kentucky. She enjoyed craft making, putting family events together and loved to tell jokes. Michele would help everyone she knew if she could, even if it was just an ear to listen. Michele was the "glue" to her family and loved them more than anything else in this world. She cared for each one and was always there when needed. Everything else was second best to them. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and only God truly knows how deeply her family will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Dale Hankins; brother, Christopher Hankins; and her grandparents.

Michele leaves behind her husband, Darrell Carter; children, Alex Carter, Brittany Hankins, Alyssa Rucker and Scott Rucker; and grandchildren, JJ Guevara II, Hayden Rucker, Aubrie Mae Rucker and Ellayna Hankins.
