Michael Thornhill

Michael Sean Thornhill, formerly of Waxahachie, went to be with his Lord on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012. Michael was born in Waco, Texas, on Aug. 27, 1966. The family moved to Waxahachie when Michael was five years old and he graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1984. He graduated summa cum laude from Northwood University. Michael and his family had recently moved back to Texas after living in California for five years, where he was vice president and retail portfolio manager for Wells Fargo Bank. Michael is survived by his wife, Trish, who loved him unconditionally and his stepson, Jordan. He is also survived by his mother, Marilynn Lash, and her husband Arv, and his daughter, Linda; his father, John Thornhill, and his wife, Janet, and their daughter, Jennifer, and son, Sean Cagle; his brother, David Thornhill, and wife, Lynn, their daughter, Amy Comerford, and sons Jason and Cody Hoggard; his in-laws, Ronald and Belinda Cheney; his brother-in-law, Jacob Cheney, and his wife and three children; his sister-in-law, Angie Chapman, her husband and three children; his grandmother, Jewel Cassady; his wife's grandparents, Raymond and Robbie Nichols and Leroy and Katherine Cheney; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, J.D. Cassady; grandparents, Red and Addie Bell Thornhill. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Dr. Leroy Fenton officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. wwww.waynebozefuneralhome.com
