Michael Noah-Benjamin Hummel (Nichols) Michael Noah-Benjamin Hummel (Nichols) was full of life, laughter and love, and shared it with everyone he met. His teachers adored him, and Michael made friends everywhere he went. Michael was very dedicated to his service in the Army JROTC Program at McCowan Middle School in DeSoto, Texas, and he continued with the Navy JROTC when he transferred to Red Oak High School for the current school year. He was a true patriot who dreamed of one day being part of an Army Special Forces Team. At home, Noah (as his family called him) loved to run, cook, care for his pets, read, paint, and work in the garden with his mom. He and his Grandpa Gary spent fun times together sharing their love of movies and video games. Noah and his dad Mark enjoyed deer hunting together. Abbie knew her big brother always had her back and would protect her. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Yvonne Nichols, sister Abigail, brother Christopher, grandparents Gary and April May, great-grandparents Roy and Audie May, Shirley and Melvin Booth, George Pechka, and Merlene Nichols, special mentors Uncle Chuck Gamero who is currently stationed in Afghanistan, and Uncle Ben Nichols and family, who is currently serving in the US Army at Ft. Bliss , as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and Mark's parents, John Nichols and Theola Kornegay. Michael is also survived by his very special girl, Charlie Paschall, and hundreds of friends and admirers. Noah was preceded in death by his baby sister, Amanda Dawn Nichols, and his grandfather Richard P. Beebe. The world grew a little quieter when Noah's laughter died tragically in an accident on his way home from school on February 27, 2013. His family takes great comfort in knowing Noah was saved and baptized, and that he is now in the loving arms of his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Services to celebrate Noah's life are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at The Oaks Fellowship in Red Oak. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the New Hope Cemetery, near New Waverly, Texas. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
