Michael Wayne Deal, lifetime Waxahachie resident, passed away Wednesday morning at the Baylor Medical Center, Waxahachie. He was born to Joel and LaRue (Scott) Deal.
Michael graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1969. He was employed out of high school as the butcher for Frank's Drive Inn. He married Sherry O'Bannon March 12, 1971 in Waxahachie. He had been employed in Quality Control with Owens Corning Fiberglass for the past thirty two years. Mr. Deal enjoyed guns, sport shooting and his grandson, Colton Dakota Deal. He was a member of the Waxahachie Cowboy Church.

His survivors include: his wife, Sherry Deal of Waxahachie; daughters, Jamie Lynn Deal of Euless and Jodie Michael Deal of Waxahachie; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Maury Deal of Waxahachie; and grandson, Colton Dakota Deal. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Morris.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, January 14, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Gary Morgan officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
