Michael Cordell

Michael Joe Cordell, 61 of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday May 29, 2013 in Dallas. He was born April 02, 1952 to Joe & Doris Williams Cordell. Michael graduated from Corsicana High School and attended Navarro College for several years. He worked at Bealls Department Store in Waxahachie in the Men's Department since 2002. He enjoyed sports, Texas Ranger Baseball and was always helpful with the gardening around the house even though he did not enjoy gardening. He will be missed by his family and everyone who knew him and loved him. He is survived by wife Cynthia Cordell of Waxahachie, Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother William Cordell. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, June 01, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie with Rev. James Southard officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, May 31, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
