Michael Christopher

Michael Coleman Christopher, 66, of Arlington, Texas passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at his home in Arlington. He was born Dec 11, 1946 in Waxahachie to the late Coleman and Frances Christopher. Mike attended Waxahachie public schools and graduated from Waxahachie High in 1965. He played basketball, baseball and was a longtime Indians fan. After graduation he served in the Marine Corp and then went on to have a successful career as a private investigator. He loved spending time with his kids, hanging out at the local Starbucks and walking his dog. He was an avid UT Longhorns fan and his home was decorated in his favorite color--burnt orange. Mike is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Glynn and Mayra Christopher of Grand Prairie; daughter, Michelle Christopher of Dallas; grandsons Glynn, Brian and Justin; sister, Jan Thompson of Crosby, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Jeff Taylor of Waxahachie; sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Jim Winters of Richardson, Texas; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved dog Suey. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov 9 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 8 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
