Melvin Loveless

Melvin Loveless, 92 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday May 04, 2013. He was born to the late D.D. & Lucy Dunlap Loveless in Cleburne, Texas on July 20, 1920. Melvin attended and graduated from Abbott High School. After high school he joined the U. S. Army Air Force where he served from 1942 to 1946 as an air craft mechanic. . After the military Melvin returned to Ellis County and farmed. He was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School class. Melvin always related well to his fellow man, a much loved Paw Paw. He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone who loved him and knew him. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Dorotha Loveless of Waxahachie. 1 Son and Daughter in Law: Clif and Judy Loveless of Waxahachie; 1 Daughter and son in law: Leigh Ann and Mike Richards of Irving, Texas; 2 Sisters: Carrie Lee Killough of Hillsboro, Texas and Janelle & Charles Farrell of Cleburne, Texas; 7 Grandchildren: Matthew & Amy Richards, Andrew Richards, Amanda & Steven Brashear, Erika Johnson, Lauren Johnson, Sarah Loveless and Hannah Loveless; 1 Great Grandson: Easton Maddox Brashear; Faithful Caregiver: Richard Davis of Waxahachie; Special family friends: Linda & Zuzu Spencer of Waxahachie; Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Brother: Vernon Loveless and 1 daughter:Joan Johnson. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 08, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Galloway officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 07, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the First United Methodist Church Children's Ministry.
