Melissa passed away Wednesday morning at Baylor Medical Center Waxahachie. She was born in Dallas to Doug R. and Donna Turbeville. Melissa was raised in Italy and graduated from Italy High School in May 2003. She became a mother on July 27, 2003. She was a member of the Frontier Church of Waxahachie.

Melissa is survived by: her parents, Doug and Donna Turbeville ; son, Prestyn Hyles; brother, Matthew Turbeville; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Turbeville all of Italy; maternal grandmother, Mary Starkey and husband Larry of Orange, TX.; maternal grandfather, Carl Robertson and wife Nancy of Fayetteville, NY; great grandmother, Freida Robertson of Jennings, LA.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Chapel in Italy. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Saturday, August 16, 2003 at the Italy High School Gymnasium with Pastor Ron Nolen officiating. Pallbearers will be Rodney Guthrie, Rey Valdez, Nick Valdez, Bruce Howard, Josh Howard, Roger Allison, Andrew Allison and Jimmy Rollins. Interment will follow in Italy Cemetery.
