Melanie passed away Saturday evening at Renfro Health Care Center in Waxahachie. Melanie was born in Waxahachie to Curtis and Louise Thomas and attended schools in Waxahachie.

Survivors include her sister Jean Wood and her brother Carroll Thomas, numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are scheduled for 4:00 PM Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the Bethel Cemetery with Pastor Tim Wallace officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
