Maxine Limmer, age 72
August 9, 1930
April 22, 2003

Maxine Limmer, beloved wife, mother and grandmother was received into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. She was born in Whitney, TX. to Alvin and Ouida Elizabeth (Callaway) Eubank. Mrs. Limmer was raised and educated in Whitney where she graduated as the valedictorian of Whitney High School. She also attended Clifton Junior College and North Texas at Denton. On June 7, 1951, she and Leonard Limmer were married in Hamilton, TX. She taught school at Aleman in her early years. After raising her family, she became a substitute teacher for the Dallas Independent School District. Mrs. Limmer was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was active at Lancaster Avenue United Methodist Church in Dallas, Tyler Street United Methodist Church also in Dallas and Ferris Heights United Methodist Church in Waxahachie.

She is survived by: her husband, Leonard Lee Limmer of Waxahachie; son, David Lee Limmer and wife Susan of Tyler; daughter, Barbara Ann Dye and husband Greg of Arlington; brother, Freddie Eubank of Whitney; and three grandchildren, Christopher Blake Wood, Miranda Elizabeth Limmer and Beaux Jeffrey Limmer. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Ardella Terry.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Friday, April 25, 2003 at the Ferris Heights United Methodist Church with Reverend Delbert Taylor and Reverend Mike Ramsdale officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews: Larry Eubank, Don Eubank, Norman Terry, Billy Bartlett, Mike Phillips, James Curtis Limmer and Jeffrey Limmer. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney.

We loved her more than anything in the world and we are proud of our mother.
