Max Wade, 75 of Maypearl, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008. He was born to the late William H. & Wilma Crow Wade on September 7, 1933 in Johnson County, Texas.

Max loved to farm and raise cattle. This was his passion and was the happiest working on the farm. He retired after 20 years from the Santa Fe Railroad working in management and retired after 18 years from the Ellis County Road & Bridge as a foreman. Max was a veteran in the United States Army and was proud of serving our country. He was a very hard worker, always providing for his family. Max was easy going and very likeable. He will be missed by so many who loved him and knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sandra Wade of Maypearl; his son, Kevin Wade and his wife, Mary Rita of Maypearl; his sister, Jerry Adams of Burleson; his twin sister, Maxine Fletcher and her husband, Doyle of Henrietta, OK; his brother, Marion Wade and his wife, Marsha of Bedford; his loving grandchildren, Brandi Wade of Denton and Haley Wade of Maypearl.

Graveside services and a celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

Services will be conducted under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
