Waxahachie

Pearl Gaither was born August 18, 1935, in Blooming Grove, Texas. Her parents were Mattie Lee Jackson and John Jackson. Her father passed away when she was a child. She married Harold Wayne Gaither when she was 17 years old on September 5, 1952. They were married for 65 years. Harold passed away in 2017. They were members of First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie.

Pearl and Harold had three children: Dusty, Jerry, and Sharon. The family lived in Waxahachie where Pearl worked mostly in the home. Once the children got older, Pearl worked outside the home for about 15 years until her grandsons needed her to take care of them. She was a seamstress and an artist. She loved painting oil paintings. Most of the family have her beautiful paintings hanging in their homes.

On March 1, 2025, Pearl passed from her earthly life to her heavenly life. She is loved and will be missed.
