Matthew Carter Sanders was a true gift from God. Matthew was born to Kerry Sanders on October 26, 2006. On July 7, 2009, Matthew was called to do his work in God's Kingdom.
Matthew was a member of the Avenue Church in Waxahachie and attended the Avenue Church Daycare. Matthew participated in Early Childhood Intervention Services, Vacation Bible School, and all Sunday School activities.
He is survived by his mother, Kerry L. Sanders of Waxahachie; his brothers, Jaiden C. Griffith of Mansfield, Ethan T. Griffith of Mansfield; his grandparents, Alma F. and Garry D. Sanders of Waxahachie; his aunt, Alicia Stewart of Waxahachie; his cousins, Bradley D. Stewart of Waxahachie, and Emilie L. Stewart of Waxahachie; and his uncle, Kris Stewart of Waxahachie.
Services to celebrate Matthew's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Avenue Church with Bro. David Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
