Matthew Wayne Blake passed away April 4, 2007. He was born June 12, 1989 in San Antonio, Texas to Richard Wayne (Rick) Blake and Jane (Deannie) Blake of Red Oak.

Matt was a junior at Red Oak High School.

His survivors include his parents; one brother, Ian Blake and wife Melissa, and niece Kaylee Blake all of Waxahachie; Aunt Debbie and Uncle Bruce Allmon and cousin Lindsey Asbury of Ohio. Uncle Mark Vordenbaum of San Antonio, Texas; Aunt Mary Bashor;; and several relatives in South Carolina.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Red Oak Funeral Home Chapel. The Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Red Oak with Mike Elrod officiating.
