MARY HELEN STOFFREGEN AUGUST 26, 1916 DECEMBER 18, 2010 Mary Helen Stoffregen, 94, of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2010 at Pleasant Manor Health and Rehab. She was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Italy, Texas , to George W. and Annie (Jacobs) Porterfield. She married Lynn D. (Bill) Stoffregen on January 18, 1937 in Italy, TX. She worked as a beautician in Waxahachie, owning her own shop for many years and then working for Mimi Garcia at Casa Blanca Beauty Shop in downtown Waxahachie until her retirement. She was an active member of Ferris Heights United Methodist Church. Mary Helen is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Stoffregen and husband, Jim of Waxahachie; granddaughters, Lisa Ricketts and husband David of Texarkana, Texas; Vicki Thompson and husband Troy, and Anjanette Jones and husband Carey, all of Waxahachie; great grandsons, Joshua and Jonathan Ricketts of Texarkana, Texas, and Hayden Jones of Waxahachie; great granddaughters, Kayla and Kimberly Thompson, and Casey Jones all of Waxahachie, and Elizabeth Rickets of Texarkana, she was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one brother. A visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Burial Park.
