Mary Nelson

Mary Lou Nelson, 91 of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 in Duncanville. She was born to the late James L. and Lula E. Moore Parrish on November 17, 1919 in Italy, Texas. Mary loved working in her yard and spending time with her family and neighbors. She is survived by her sister, Jimmie Parrish and her husband, Donald of Duncanville; her nephews, David Parrish of The Colony, James Parrish of Duncanville; her grand nephew, Matthew Parrish of The Colony; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, James Nelson; her daughter, Peggy Nelson; and her ex-husband, J. B. Nelson. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Sardis Cemetery with Rev. Fred Green officiating.
