Mary Miller

Mary L. "Jody" Miller, 77 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Pleasant and Altie Woodall Walton on May 21, 1934 in Long Branch, Texas. Jody loved to work and loved working at Walmart in Waxahachie, where she was employed for 10 years. She enjoyed walking and exercising and spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Lester Miller of Waxahachie; her daughters, Beverly Duckett and her husband, Randy of Waxahachie, Darlene Blackburn and her husband, Gary of Waxahachie; her sons, Danny Miller and his wife, Cindy of Palmer, Neal Miller and his wife, Lisa of Ennis; her sisters, Jean Otto and her husband, James of Waxahachie, Joyce Grimes and her husband, Thomas of Waxahachie; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Lester Miller, Jr.; and also by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Waxahachie. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
