Mary Ellen Mc Cool, age 90
January 30, 1917
September 1, 2007

Mrs. Mc Cool passed away Saturday evening at Renfro Care Center in Waxahachie. She was born in Crowder, Oklahoma to E.L. and Verna ( Graham) Henry. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in Supulpa, Oklahoma and later attended Community College. She married Allen Brooks in 1940 during WWII. She later married Jesse McCool September 16, 1989 in Cedar Hill, Texas.
She retired from Meritz Travel Agency in Dallas in 1998. Mrs. McCool had an interesting Career with her first husband teaching and performing as a dance team. She was especially proud of her dancing since she overcame childhood paralysis. Mrs. McCool was a member of the Cedar Hill Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Colleen Carroll and her husband Jerry of Ovilla, Laura Moroz and her husband Tom of Vienna, Virginia, 2 sons; Stewart Brooks of Cedar Hill, and Steven Brooks and his wife Tammy of Ovilla. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Jeff and Corey Carroll, Zachary and Sara Brooks, Cameron and Chasie Brooks, and one niece Jane Reed.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Allen Brooks, her second husband Jesse McCool, one sister Marguarite Stegall, and one brother Graham Henry.

A Memorial Service is Scheduled Celebrating her life for 6:00 PM Thursday, September 6, 2007 at The Wayne Boze Funeral Home
