Mary Jane "Pat" Jurecko, age 83

Mrs. Jurecko passed away Monday morning at Red Oak. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA. to Ted and Mary (Gilroy) Crown. She graduated from high school in Pittsburgh and married Frank Jurecko at St. Justin's Catholic Church on April 7, 1942, also in Pittsburgh. She was a housewife supplementing income working at Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi. She, her husband and three children spent most of their lives in Corpus Christi, moving to Red Oak in 1988 where she worked for Houck Garden Center in Duncanville. She was a very active member of the Saint Theresa Altar Society Catholic Church, and Corpus Christi Incarnate Ward Academy, Salatana Women's Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus, all in Corpus Christi. Mrs. Jurecko was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Waxahachie.
Her survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Penny Jurecko of Red Oak; daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki Lynn and Royce Awtry of Red Oak, and Pattie and John Villarreal of Mansfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Beverly Crown of Pittsburgh, PA., and Charles Edward Crown of Los Angeles, CA.; five granddaughters; three grandsons; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and beloved granddaughter, Candice Marie Villarreal.
The Rosary will be said at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the Red Oak Chapel of the funeral home with Father Michael Guadagnoli Celebrant. Visitation will be 6:30 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Sea Side Funeral Home in Corpus Christi with the Celebration of Life at 12 Noon on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the Sea Side Memorial Park, Corpus Christi, Texas. Interment will follow.
